Thanks for visiting. I am an award-winning technology editor and writer with 25 years experience in the high-tech arena. As a longtime editor at PC Magazine, I am familiar with the full range of hardware and software PC products, with particular emphasis on laptops, document imaging solutions (such as document management) and small-business software and services.

I spent 5 years assigning and editing PC Magazine's 18-page First Looks section, which featured hands-on reviews of the latest products and services. The section was awarded a 2004 National Gold Award for Best Regular Department by the American Society of Business Press Editors. I also headed up several features teams while at the magazine, coordinating PC, peripheral, and networking coverage over the years.

I am currently the Director for software solutions projects at Keypoint Intelligence (parent company of Buyers Lab and InfoTrends), as well as a Contributing Editor of Computer Shopper and a frequent contributor to SmallBusinessComputing.com.
